Beatsource LINK and Beatport LINK, now in Serato DJ
We’ve recently launched Serato DJ Pro 2.4 and Serato DJ Lite 1.4. These updates bring a host of new features designed for the modern DJ, focused on live streaming.
Most notably, this introduces Beatsource LINK and Beatport LINK streaming integration.
Beatsource has one of the most comprehensive online open-format music catalogues. From all era’s and styles, DJs will be able to manage Crates and playlists more effectively, or add new songs that come to them during their sets with ease with Beatsource LINK.
Furthermore, these updates also add Beatport LINK integration, giving DJs access to an extensive electronic music catalog from within the software. Both Beatsource LINK and Beatport LINK integration will be found in the sidebar under streaming services. No out-of-app action is needed – everything is available right there in front of you.
What are the benefits of using in-app streaming?
Unlike using pre organised Crates, using streaming services like Beatport and Beatsource allows you to add songs into your set on the fly. You’ll be able to stay within Serato DJ Pro or Lite, continuing your mix while adding some new material into the cue.
This is great for fielding requests from the floor, getting new releases into your set, or just securing that banger you love that you forgot to add to your Crate.
